What to expect
Every dental starts with pre-anesthetic bloodwork and an exam. Under anesthesia we scale and polish every tooth, probe for pockets, and take dental X-rays to see roots and bone we cannot see otherwise. If a tooth is broken, abscessed, or loose, we will call you before extracting it.
Your pet is monitored the entire time by a dedicated assistant and goes home the same afternoon. Most pets are eating normally that evening.
We will also show you what you can do at home: brushing, dental chews, and diets that slow tartar. None of them replace a cleaning, but they stretch the time between them.
