What to expect
Our in-house lab handles complete blood counts, chemistry panels, thyroid levels, urinalysis, fecal exams, and heartworm and tick-borne disease tests. Results are usually back within the hour.
Digital radiography gives us clear images of bones, chest, and abdomen in minutes, and the files can be sent to a board-certified radiologist for a second read when needed.
For tests we cannot run here, we send to a reference lab and typically have results within one to two business days.
Common questions
Why does my healthy pet need bloodwork?
It sets a baseline. When something changes later, we can compare against your pet's own normal, not a textbook range.
Does my pet need to be sedated for X-rays?
Usually not. Most pets tolerate a few quick views with gentle positioning. For painful or anxious patients we use light sedation.
